1. Gerrard (mostly for two well taken goals)

2. Poulsen (thought he did pretty well actually - a bit to fond of the sideways/backwards pass, but kept busy, tackled and won a lot of second balls)

3. Cole/Meirelles - both got involved more and more in the second, and I think 4/5 out of our midfield did well.

 

 

Maxi shouldn't really start for us again, and let's hope someone finds a miracle cure for Aurelio's fitness worries...

 

Now if we could find new owners and a manager that's not totally out of his depth before our next meeting with the Mancs I would be well happy

That's it. Dunno where these Gerrard votes are coming from, he was anonymous until the pen. Cole ran around like a special needs kid who's been told he can 'chase ball' today. Torres is a sulky fucker. Lost count of the number of balls Fletcher and Rooney pinged over to the acres of space on the right for Nani, where Konch should have been and wasn't.
