Just saw that Rihanna actually tweeted #FreePalestine, then deleted it minutes later. A basketball player called Dwight Howard also did the same. This is the type of shit they face for speaking out in America though :

 

 

 

The oldest "Pro-Israel" organization in the United States is lashing out at NBA star Dwight Howard -- claiming his "#FreePalestine" tweet is hateful and ignorant. As we previously reported Howard tweeted -- and then deleted -- the message on Saturday ... and then issued an apology for commenting on international politics in the first place. 

But the Zionist Organization of America -- an international group with more than 30k members -- says Dwight's apology isn't enough. 

"He should be publicly condemned as strong as Donald Sterling was," ZOA President Morton Klein tells TMZ Sports.

"Anyone who uses the phrase 'Free Palestine' is either ignorant of the situation or hates the Jewish state of Israel. It's a hateful position."

Klein adds, "Celebs have great influence. When he makes a ridiculously false statement like 'Free Palestine,' it's frightening."

Yeah definitely, was wondering what he tweeted but he's such a twat that I'm not bothered checking. It'll clearly be something stupid.

 

Have just had a quick read about the Berlin protests Malarkey, and yeah it does look like there's some idiots that are just being outright stupid there. It sucks because it tarnishes the whole thing, especially when the media decide to purposefully focus on that instead to deflect from the actual reason for the protests. At the same time it obviously can't be ignored, because it's retarded and dangerous.

Kerry has apparently presented a ceasefire "plan" that involves IDF troops staying in Gaza to "dismantle tunnels". Like that's going to be accepted. Maybe another case of the US government actively trying to make sure that peace doesn't happen. Those warmongering idiots have probably been ruining Israel-Palestine peace talks for a long time anyway. It's not as if the Israeli government are interested in peace in the first place, but it might help to have better people involved in the process just incase something can actually be done.

 

The American government should get a lot of shit for their consistent failure to solve anything. If they're so bad at it maybe they should just keep their fucking noses out and let other countries try to help instead.

Why would they be anything else? The Arabs have been trying to destroy them since day 1. Israel's restraint, given their alleged "anti-Arab" stance, is quite remarkable. They could obliterate their enemies and wipe out the Palestinians in a stroke but instead they give back land they conquered from the Arabs and allow the Palestinians to form governments. Israel has done a decent job of behaving as a civilised democracy in the face of incredible hostility. If the situation was reversed, an Arab country would be nowhere near as tolerant as Israel has been. And the Americans would have bombed the shit out of all their neighbours a long time ago if they were in the same situation as Israel.

Furthermore, England is surrounded by other friendly, on the way to socialism, countries.  Israel is surroudned by, and living with in their own state, people who vow their only goal is to wipe the Jews from the planet.

 

I also like how the press covers all the protests for the Palies in cities around the world.  What they frequently conveniently forget to add is the part about chants like "Gas the Jews" and "Kill all Jews".  That happened in Paris this week, folks.  A nice day drive down from your very own country, where it has happened before.

 

And lastly, the idea the the press is pro-Israeli is arguably the most shocking opinion in this entire thread filled with shocking opinions.
