Think he's just what our defence needed with all our problems at the back this season.

Thought he was brilliant against Stoke and again tonight. Very dominant defender, like the way Sami used to be. Causes mayhem in the opposition box too.

Love his no nonsense defending, even stretching the laws of the game at certain times.

Hope Rafa keeps him in the team and he gets a decent run.

Warming to to fella...

He's had two good games, and he always tries his heart out, but he's got a shocking barnet and he's always got an error in him.

He reminds me a bit of Piechnik - he had a few immense performances but was found out. The Greek has proved no more than that he is a god squad player. When everyone's fit I'd go Ager and Skrtel with Carra RB. We need defenders who can do more than hoof it, so need AGger in the side, and Skrtel's contribution the last few weks ha sbeen overlooked.

Doing well.

Has to start against Kevin Doyle and Kevin Davies in the next two games.

Can you repeat... Did`nt hear you! ;)

He did well... but made a major cock up at the start of the second that could have proved costly. I thought Skrtel was very good today and egded the greek dude...but credit where it`s due. He has proved to be an astute buy, and as 4th choice he`s been very good.

And also a good option to have to counter the ale house football of Stoke, Bolton and Everton.

Had we got him 10 years we would be talking about a true Liverpool great

Please tell me that's tongue in cheek?

He's had two good games! Every other time he's pulled on a red shirt he's been shite. And he will revert to type, he's a penalty or a red card waiting to happen. He's a replacement for Sami Hyppia and he's not a patch on Sami, not even close.
