It wasn't a bad performance last night. I was impressed by Ecclestone and Pacheco especially - they linked well together. Mavinga seemed pretty decent too. Brouwer caused a bit of trouble for Thistle but basically ran around a lot without any end prodcut.

Brouwer is the sublime and the ridiculous. He give the team a focal point and links up well. We always seem to be more cohesive when he plays. BUT his finishing is just so poor.

 

Have to say Mavinga has impressed me too. I can't believe one of him, Kelly and Ayala won't be a starting CH in a few years.

 

BTW Who was playing in midfield? Mchmahon seems to be playing wingers and strikers there at the moment.

In the end I wasnt too sure who was playing where at points. We seemed to alternate between a 4-4-2 and a 3-5-2 at increasingly random points.

 

We seemed to start with Weijl, Kohlert, Bruna and Simon in the middle.

 

By the end Ecclestone seemed to be playing on the right with Brouwer and Flora up front.
