I dont know if this has been mentioned today, but I read earlier that Peter Kilfoyle MP was worried about Krusty's departure from Liverpool as he was supposedly the only person at LFC who was personally interested in the regeneration of the Anfield area.

He goes on to say that he doubts Hicks and Benitez would be that interested in the community.

Hang on, I know Rafa's getting blamed for everything that goes wrong at present, but even those who are fed up with him cant pin the lack of progress on the stadium build and the surrounding improvements to the area that are supposed to go with it, on him.

Including Rafa wasnt a dig by Kilfoyle the bluenose (not Kilfoyle the MP), was it?

I wouldn't bet on it, i don't think i can ever remember a manager so persecuted by the media. Graeme Taylor was treated worse but that was only due to the England position. (i know Killfoyle is not the media but you take my point)

Kilfoyle is a good MP but this doesn't concern him and he should kindly fuck off. The regeneration plan is in place provided we can get funding for the stadium. If we can't, it won't happen. So he should keep his nose out.

He's a fat, bluenose, tory fucking twat. Who isn't fit to tie Eric Heffer's shoelaces.

Edit in case the site gets into trouble. Wouldn't put it past him.

Fucking fat queg.

Eric Heffer couldn`t see his shoes . . .

Ah, they were the days, Eric Heffer, Eddie Loyden, when the Labour Party still had a socialist soul. Has it been seen since?

If he cared as much about the regeneration of Anfield as much as he did about finding Fit and Proper owners to take the club forward i say it wont be that great a loss

And Mr Kilfoyle might want to turn his efforts across the park towards uncle Bill who would ship them out the city for a bag of Miget Gems

I tend it in a felt-lined box awaiting the day when the wheel turns full circle.

I have heard that Everton are going to build their ground in Croxteth off the Lancs if Destination Kirkby gets fucked off, you heard it here first.

Its not up to Everton where they build the stadium, its up to Tesco. There has to be enough space for a Tesco super store in the area too.

This is the same Peter Kilfoyle who advocates Everton moving to Kirkby and doesn’t consider the impact that will have on local businesses. I personally couldn’t care less whether Everton move, but it’s surely not in the best interests of his local constituents for a business to move out of the area.

The man’s a self serving cunt who doesn’t give a shit about the people of Anfield and Walton. If he really cared about the people of Anfield he wouldn’t have stood by while the area was deliberately run down by the Council, the club and different housing associations. All of them have been buying houses in the area for years and boarding them up. It basically created a ghetto which no one wanted to move into and everyone wanted out. They deliberately forced down house prices so people had no choice but to sell up.

They've shit on the people of Anfield from a great height. People in the area live in limbo because a new ground gives people hope that area might improve but if it doesn't this part of the city is left with fuck all and they know it.

  • 3 months later...

Apparently he is making government proposals to try ans stop G + H getting there extension, using the fact the government now has a 60% stake in RBOS. Voicing concerns about how the delay of the new ground is stopping regeneration to one of the most needy areas. I know very little about poiltics but could he have any impact at all ?? I agree from what I have read the guy is somewhat wrapped up in self importance, but as the saying goes, every little helps.

That was a long long time ago and nothing came of it.
