On my 3rd tin of Carlsberg. There's a further 9 in the fridge and 8 in the cupboard.

I'm getting messy, very messy.

That's good for tonight, make sure you load up tomorrow. I've made very exact calculations and I have 13 500ml tins of Guinness plus some Two Oceans wine to toast with redexile.

4 tins prematch

3 tins first half

2 half time tins

2 tins 2nd half if it's close, 4 if we're on top of things

extra 2 in case of extra time/penalties.

Fucking German ref obviously doesn't have a Swiss watch.

The ref will keep the game going until Milan score. this is due to not wanting to wake on thursday morning with a Horses head in his bed should Liverpool Win. ultimately however God will scupper his plan.

and Madrid will lose the la liga title chase due to the mysterious disappearence of their Striker Ruud.

Haha!

The Bernebeu being haunted a headless Dutchman.

I hope Jerzy said his prayers to JP II and his mate put a word in to this German ref.

The only way I'd get any rest tonight is with the assistance of a few beverages. Only I'm not supposed to be drinking these days, doctor's orders... I've already determined that I'm going to swerve the no-drinking thing tomorrow and get slaughtered on Big Rock traditional ale during the match, but I haven't yet convinced myself to have a few to steady my nerves tonight.

So it could go either way. Either up all night shaking with anticipation sober, or get five or so peaceful hours dreaming beery dreams of a Fowler penalty on 89 minutes.

I'm getting heavily stoned. It's future, people

i would have been but my dumbass brother chose to work an overtime shift instead of bringing me some round and monging outr playing Spider-man 3 on the PS3.

so now i'm having to rely on Wine, Stella, and whatever else is in my beer fridge

I have to be up for my postie round at 4am so i'm going to go to bed now and watch a film ... It's looking like The Usual Suspects... Hopefully then i'll have wound down enough to sleep. I've prepared myself a special champs league brekkie for the morning too ... Oh luxury !!!

Sleep as good as possible people,

Let's win it in Athens !!!

In Istanbul it was hope not expectation, especially when I heard the night before that Kewell was starting and not Didi. This time I think it's 50/50 who wins.

Personally, I'll be having £10 on us to win on penalties at 10/1.
