Essien

I know he had a disgusting challenge on Didi a few years back but I noticed Essien shaking hands or helping up our players at least three times last night, even after they'd steamed into him.

No diving or blatant cheating from him either, a marked difference from virtually every other player in their team.

He should join a proper football club, as a person he's obviously a cut above Drogba, Lampard, Joe Cole and the rest of the cunts.

Essien was superb for them last night. I hate Drogba most of all. Mainly because he's such an amazing player yet his cheating diving antics are a disgrace to the game. Lampard and Joe Cole are just overated. Nowt special.

if drogba didn't dive, he'd be no better than emile heskey. the only reason he's effective is every defender that faces him is at a disadvantage because if they go withiin 2 yards of him he falls over and refs for some reason think that's good enough reason to give him a free kick. if defenders had the right to tackle him the way they do with all other forwards, he'd be fuck all.

Right i'm gonna get slaughtered for this, but this season i've really liked Drogba. At Anfield earlier this season I thought he was class, and even chuckled when the Kop mocked him sliding into the hoardings. He's slipping back into it lately but IMO he's been far better and much more of a sportsman than a gamesman this year.

He's a wanker but a very good player. I think we'd be in more trouble had he been playing in Lampards position last night.

Spot on that. He's got pace and strength and can shoot. He's wasted as a defensive midfielder or defender. Even last night ,playing out of position I thought he did all that was asked of him.
