"Labour more interested in political correctness rather than school standards when I was growing up"

Fuck right off. I am a year younger than you and all my education was under the Tory cunts.

she blamed the Leeds labour council for that.

that was some dull shit there though. it was all random words. i don't even know the point she was making outside of the fact the country has been run badly for years, yet the only labour prime minister i can remember were brown and blair. "anti growth coalition", isn't that them? according to her and her chancellor isn't the 45% tax hampering our growth? so their own party became the coalition to stop her achieving world domination?

she's a fucking idiot.

Someone on twitter said; Truss seems very pleased with her "anti growth coalition" slogan. It looks like she's going to get the Tories to run with it. Problem; most of the country won't have a clue what she's on about.

Even if Truss was some kind of genius and trickle down economics worked, you're essentially asking - what - 30/40 million people to live through shit for the next five or 10 years before a few jobs pop up in Shoreditch? That's not how human beings work.

Not for me Clive.

Fucking hell this fella's just won tory optimist of the decade..

Don't give up on a tory general election victory just yet, fate may yet deal the Conservatives a welcome hand. If Putin starts a nuclear war, the odds on the next general election changes. Ladbrooks and Coral will have to change their odds, probably towards the sitting government. This good news could happen by Christmas.

This fella is not some random tory fruitloop but the head of Conservative home magazine.

We just need Russia to explode a tactical nuke in Ukraine before Christmas and we'll win the election.

Oh fine, just a prelude to Armageddon away from staying in power, fucking sociopath!

Having listened to that, I thought he was pretty much saying she's that bad and this is such a shit show, that it can only be saved by nuclear war. I didn't see it as optimistic, I think it was let's get back to parliament and if it doesn't change, bin her. The trouble is, you could imagine she'd happily start a nuclear war if it made her popular and credible.

Ah right, I just found the implications a bit funny, 'a nuclear war and we're right back in the game' sort of thing.
