The fuse was lit long ago. Terrorism is unfortunately going to be part and parcel of life for the next generation. It is also impossible to eradicate as they are spread around the World. Stop bombing the shit out of countries and future generations might be spared, although I don't think that is what the powers that be want. They just spill false tears and chat bullshit, as long as their Arms deals go through.

They've got a right to moan that saving thousands from war torn countries, many of which we have contributed too, lets in one nutter with a lidl bag full of lighter fluid?

I didn't say I agreed with them, but it's a valid concern. In this scenario you'd have to be daft to say it wouldn't happen, I suppose it comes down to how many attacks they'd be 'happy' to put up with. Their number is lower than yours.

The trivialising of the bomb is weird. Didn't I read if it had gone of it'd been more powerful than 7/7 and was full of shrapnel?

Rapid combustion of a large amount of fluid in a confined space.

Thanks mate. Where was the liquid though ? In the bucket ? An eyewitness described it like a flamethrower going off. It doesn't seem to tally with what you could see left behind on the train. A largely intact bucket and plastic bag.

It was a chain reaction that didn't work fully. The first part did hence the flash, but the main ignition failed.
