There was a whole documentary about his time as caretaker. I stumbled across it late one night a few years back on ITV. It was absolutely bizarre.

Did it cure your Insomnia?

He's just such a boring and uninspiring bastard. Never manager material. LVG must have been fuming to have this idiot as his assistant, no doubt the manc hierarchy forced him to accept Giggs. No surprise at all Mourinho wanted nothing to do with him.

Wales have lost the plot hiring this fool.

Cracking player but he has the personality of a fucking newt. Same goes for Scholes., the nevilles and Beckham. Wonder what happened to them back in the early 90's.....

I always imagine our moaning fans look and sound like Scholes.

He'll drop Wales like a hot potato if he is offered a lucrative deal with a PL club mate, or Wales will sack him for being a useless cunt. Money for old rope and you just know the media will twist things to suit Giggs. If he fails it is because Wales is a small country with no decent players anymore or ageing players. If he does well they'll go way OTT regardless of the opponent. They are desperate for one of that class of 92 to make the big time in management.

Manchester United are confident of completing a £65m package deal for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.

Armenian football journalist Thibaud Vezirian says the deal is underway.

He tweeted an Armenian flag and wrote: “The transfer of @HenrikhMkh to @Arsenal, it's done! Alexis Sanchez go to @ManUtd.”

- United and Arsenal are in still locked in talks over a transfer which will see Henrikh Mkhitaryan move the other way.

- Chelsea are also interested in signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

- Arsenal are looking into mega-money deals for Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins. They will offer Olivier Giroud to Borussia Dortmund as a makeweight to signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is Arsenal’s top choice as they seek a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

- West Ham are not willing to loan Andy Carroll to Chelsea and will only sanction a permanent transfer.

- Swansea are in talks with Atletico Madrid over potential transfers for France striker Kevin Gameiro and Argentina midfielder Nicolas Gaitan

- Everton are closing in on a £20m swoop for out-of-favour Arsenal winger Theo Walcott.

- Burnley are preparing to bid £10m for the 23-year-old Brighton midfielder Solly March.

- Sunderland are willing to let £70,000-a-week midfielder Jack Rodwell leave for free as they look to make cost savings.

I wish Wales could transfer Giggs. Anywhere would do.

My friends in Newport are not impressed mate, they see it as a huge step backwards and a risk not worth taking. Wales have kind of punched above their weight for a while because they have played with spirit and belief, if they start losing games against mediocre opponents as in years gone by it will just set them back 10 years or so.

Got to agree with that. Wales did well under Coleman because he inspired them to play as a unit and to give 100% in every game. Giggs is so downbeat and depressing he'd be banned from working the phone lines for the Samaritans.

The only upside is he'll be off if any Prem club is crazy enough to offer him a job.

Yep, probably your best hope is that he does well in the up coming play offs for the next Euro's and is picked up by a PL club in the early season knee jerk manager go round.
