Surprised Elite hasn't had more love early on. His front 6 (mid/atk) is far better than Ardja's. Admittedly some questionable defensive choices ...

More I look at Pidge's team less I like it. If Gerrard was in the midfield 3 then great, but don't really see a player in that 3 that likes to put their foot on the ball. Hamsik?? Maybe .. but at age 30 he's won nothing of note, ever, and therefore very questionable how good he actually is. Marchiso is a good player in isolation but probs worst midfielder left in this other than maybe Gabi? Kante clearly v good player but needs to do something in Europe/internationally to cement himself. Attack is extremely blunt compared to the other 3 teams. Defense is nice but could expect Silva + Carlos to be fucking up defensively every now and then.

TBH think John's team was the best of those chosen.

Drafts are great until the voting process.

 

We should do a Draft on current players and then we do the Football Manager type game do make it interesting after the Draft.

 

Soccer Manager is free and it would be brilliant to do a league on there after we all Draft the players but we'd need about 16 people.

I enjoyed a draft we did last year where we picked one player each from a particular squad from a particular tournament or season e.g., a player from Czech Republic Euro 96 team, a player from Liverpool 10/11 team, etc.. thoughts?

 

Yeah I like them ones.
