We should see a smorgasbord of changes following the weekend game. Who do you think will come in? I hope we see Flanagan and Robinson as they looked very promising towards the end of last season. Suarez and Gerrard will almost certainly be rested, is Bellamy fit?

Don't see why there would be many changes for this. Maybe one of Adam or Henderson will start but otherwise I think it'll be pretty much the same team who played against Stoke.

 

Would be great if we could get 6 points in these next two games against sides near the bottom. Wouldn't be a surprise to see us end up with only 2 or 3 though.

4 games in 11 days is tough going in anybody's books. Suarez took a knock and Gerrard can't physically play 3 games in a week so I'd expect them both to be left out. Kelly looked hurt coming off too so with Johnson injured I'd expect Flanagan to play.

 

If we didn't have a game on Saturday too then fair enough but this is the reason we have a big squad.

its somewhat frustrating that kenny doesnt rate maxi. since carroll isnt starting, would have liked maxi and suarez to link up. they linked up well for the goal against stoke and its not a case of him being tired as i think he was brought off early against stoke.

with adam starting, gerrard will probably have to stay back to do the dirty work. this could well be an another draw.

Don't like Suarez as a lone striker and that's what that'll end up as.

 

Dirk will be playing up front with Suarez, and Maxi will be on the left midfield in a fluid 442, which will become 451 (defending) and 442/433 when we are attacking.

 

Kuyt will take every opportunity to get central and support Suarez, even though he is nominally playing wide right.

I don't think Adam or Kuyt shout be playing. They certainly are not being picked on merit. Let's hope Adam kind find his early season form and Kuyt plays his cup sub game rather that his league 'on from the start' game. The only thing in our favour is that the QPR defence is shite
