I have also thought that, someone asked the person in question if they were Rashid a couple of days ago, but luckily it got overlooked.

 

If indeed he has re registered, and is keeping a low profile then it should stay that way, as hardly anyone has noticed so its best for all concerned parties.

i know he can get on people's nerves with the net spend/quaresma rants but the place doesnt seem the same without him.

I know I'm relatively new, but personally I thought Rashid was good for the site. He had strong opinions, like most Liverpool fans and he wasn't scared to say what those opinions / views were.

 

I thought that was the whole point in a discussion forum?! Creating debate, otherwise this would be a dull place.

 

Whether people agreed with him or not, it brought more posts, more insight and opinions and personally I think that is great.

 

The one thing I didn't like about Rash, was he once negged me for having a different opinion to his ("you're wrong"). Personally I don't think I would neg someone for having a different opinion to mine, that's football, you agree and disagree over certain players, rules, decisions, tactics etc. I would neg someone if they were being abusive, but not for someone having a different opinion to mine. But either way, I liked him.

And it too often seemed that he wasnt putting across an honest opinion but was saying something he knew would start an argument, trying to be 'controversial'. And he was called me a cunt and negged me when he didnt agree with what i wrote. Thats why so many people were so quick to turn on him.

Of course it's Dave's rules, and in that light this thread is irrelevant. However, we are entitled to an opinion. On balance, I think Dave was right to ditch Rash, but if it was my place, I'd have banned a few others too. I do miss Rash's perspective on things and I reckon he was right about an awful lot - certainly way more than most gave him credit for.

 

Agree with your views on him.

A trifle ironic, that we're talking about Rashid being such an annoying (ex-)poster, when we have a thread, smack on page one, all in big caps:

 

"Liverpool player is a cheating cunt"

 

And this is for a player who apparantly cheated by being tripped by the defender's leg.

 

Some posters are annoying (not arguing with some of the reasons why Rashid was banned), and get hammered for it. Other posters are even worse, and not much happens. C'est la vie ....
