Eh. Almost everyone agreed at the end Riise was poor - to be polite - Kuyt splits it down the middle.

So he is by no means the new Riise.

 

 

I think against some sides he is worth having but on occasions we need something more. Yesterday was one of those occasions, having said that it is not fair to single out Kuyt.

I'd sell Dirk if we got an offer approaching what we paid for him. There's no doubt that he has some endearing qualities but when you're looking to win the league you can't have your right sided player only giving you hard work and good back tracking.

 

If it was all about hard work on the flanks, we could just ring the agency up and get a couple of Poles in every Saturday morning...
