It'll be an emotional season for him, poor fucker. We're all behind you, Dirky.

 

It was the last one as well. Dirk has had a lot to contend with, his father dying, being away from him whilst he was dying, moving to a new country, adapting to the new country, pressure of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world and the arrival of his child. He was still our top scorer in the league, despite his failings.

Good post, many people, and i include myself, have moaned about his first touch etc but what you say puts it into perspective.
