I think you need to be in the pocket of the Saudis before you gen an MBE these days

It has always been the case that you could get an MBE by being in the pocket of someone. The Zionsits have pockets full of British officials. The Saudis have just upped their game.

I have now returned from Los Angeles. This allowed me time to digest the various talking points raised and assign my own very important opinion to them.

It was only after I’d listened to the pod that Klopp appointed VVD Captain, but this was always going to happen. Having said that, I agree with whoever said that VVD just doesn’t feel like a captain. What I disagree with was all the shouts for Robertson?  I love the lad, but he’s just a little messer.  He doesn’t have anywhere near the grandiose to be captain of Liverpool and all the off field things you’ve to deal with. VVD is the right choice, but from a fairly weak pot.

The Henderson chat was very good. I’m just disappointed too. Not angry, just disappointed, like a dad scolding a child. I think it puts a pretty big black mark against what has been a truly exceptional Liverpool career and captaincy. I can divide out this huge disappointment from what he did for us before though. Sadly, his abilities and his achievements here will be talked down in the coming years by the people that just don’t understand football and the importance of his type of player. They’ll try and say we achieved “despite” Henderson. Many will know this is nonsense (mainly older, and match going fans), but the kids and the internet gobs will try and say he was rubbish. It’ll be important to call that out when it happens.  The money grabbing, hypocrite twat.

Finally, I was surprised at Jules in this pod.  His Fox News meets Sean Connery comments disparaging the entire LGBTQ+ community by messing up their name and then saying he can never remember “whatever it is they are called”, and then following this later by saying he “wishes for the old days when men could beat their wives” (I may be paraphrasing in both instances) was both surprising and shocking but indicative of how pods are pivoting towards extreme right-wing talking points these days.

Other than that, great pod.

Yeah we'll do a season preview this week ahead of the first game. Then there'll be a transfer window recap when the window closes.

Daisy has recorded his transfer window recap ahead of time, like media outlets do obituaries for heads of state and ageing legends.

Well,in true Liverpool fashion we always have to associate some kind of wing to our legends songs!
