Had an interesting conversation with South Glos council today.

 

They don't own a single property used for social housing.

 

Carly and I would be classed as 'BAND B' qualifying for a one bed flat (no guarantee of ground floor despite her being in a wheelchair!).

 

Current waiting time for a property? Two and a half years.

 

Even if her parents kicked us out and we were made homeless, to then be classed as 'BAND A'.

 

Waiting time? A year!
