Well i hope that we stick to our guns and bid the same as Swansea. They want to sell him and he wants to join us.

He is quick and has a decent end product, but poor decision making, and is very easy to read.

 

Id much prefer us to look elsewhere although his pace would be nice. Still though, I believe Rodgers want players that are good on the ball and has their heads screwed on properly.

Not being funny, but this time last year we were spending 20m to much on players. Spending the extra million or two (200k in this case, I think) to get a player of quality is what we should do when needed.

If it was the former i can't see how we'll avoid paying a couple of million more, even if he only wants to move to us. Good player at the price either way, but as has been said, we don't want to be seen as pushovers again.

To add further to this to get any confusion away.

 

Grant Holt made most fouls with 89, he only attempted 20 tackles.

 

Suarez made 44 fouls and attempted 35 tackles.

 

So fouls made and tackles attempted are two different things, why they wrote what they did about Adam in that paper only God knows, probably because the journo is a bit slow to put it nicely.

Swansea's agreed price probably had a sell on clause in it, so Hffenheim would've got more than the fee if he done well there and left for a bigger club.

 

If he does well here, he'll stay and there's probably no sell on clause, so we have to pay more up front.

It was a general address. Just because 442 are using 2 sets of statistics doesn't mean they are exclusively connected. They are essentially saying he conceded x amount of fouls, but only made y amount of tackles. Its irrelevant beyond belief. Like combining a goalkeepers shot stopping with his assist making. We know Adam can't tackle very well - we don't need 442 to research it and print figures, we have eyes. If Grant Holt over celebrates a goal, he gets booked. In order for the referee to book him - he must class his action as a foul. Where is the tackle there? 442 can shove their petty stats where they piss from.
