Cheap at twice the price, especially since it seems Hicks originally though Broughton would be one of his stooges. Have you noticed that it seems to take people six months at the most to realise that Hicks is a quite massive cunt?

 

It seems pretty damn clear now that having been empowered by the clauses in RBS's agreement with Hicks and Gillett, Broughton stuck to his guns and did exactly what he was brought in to do - remove the decision making process from those motivated by self interest and put the club back where it should always have been, at the heart of everything.

 

I've got to admit I'm pretty damn impressed with him. He's clearly got more integrity in his little finger than Hicks and Gillett have ever seen and for all the shit they've taken, that goes for Purslow and Ayres too - I think a few of us might owe those guys an apology.

When it was made known that Broughton was a Chelsea fan I let my emotions override my common sense, and let everyone who would listen to me know he was a cunt.
