  1. A lot of absolute garbage in there (that I won't waste my time contesting) used as an excuse to avoid answering three perfectly valid, straightforward questions.
  2. Let's set to one side my obvious admiration for Rafa, and disdain for Carragher for the role that he and his family played in getting rid of him. Do you think that Jamie Carragher should be playing in Liverpool's first team? Do you think that he would get a game for any of the teams hoping to finish top 4? Do you think that Bob Paisley would have offered Jamie Carragher a £90k per week three year contract two years ago?
  3. I can only assume that you weren't around to see Paisley at work. These aren't my words, but are spot on: "The greatest strength of Bob Paisley, though, had to be his ability to sign the right players for his team, allied to an excellent sense of when to let existing players go. Not only were his signings on balance the best of any Liverpool manager, but he never kept a player past his sell-by date. Unlike Shankly, Paisley was ruthless when it came to letting older players go. He didn’t enjoy the process, but he didn’t let any sentimentality cloud his judgement."
  4. Paisley was a great judge of a player (best in my lifetime) and ruthless with it. He would have replaced Carragher three years ago. He would have been long gone. Oh, and save the personal abuse - it's pathetic.
  5. Carragher should be shown the door sharpish. Back in the day, Paisley would have looked only at what he is now. He'd have been given absolutely zero credit for what he had once been. This "show him respect" line is one of the reasons we are where we are today.
  6. Carragher has got some nerve criticising former teammates for not giving their all for Hodgson. Hypocritcal prick. Sincerely hope (but doubt) that Rodgers has the bottle to tell him he's free to find another club. Millstone round the club's neck. Future manager? Give me a break.
  7. Absolutely. It's the Hodgson pantomime all over again. We knew which no-mark they were going to appoint then, just as we do now. It's Martinez. There will be no exciting grand plan unveiled.
  8. You're arguing about the relative merits of our new manager, Roberto Martinez, and Steve Fucking Bruce. Think about it - who'd have thought it would ever come to this?
  9. There will be a 0-4. At home to Sunderland. Away? I daren't even look into my crystal ball.
  10. If one of those two gets the job, we all know how it will end don't we? We've been here before. The fact that they're the only two in the frame is truly mind-boggling.
  11. Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. I fully understand people trying to rationalise this move - but we all know how it will end. Again.
  12. Just heard myself that it's Citeh that are in for him. Good player, be sorry to lose him.
