Is it just me or does anybody else think that Ronaldo doesnt deserve to be World Player Of The Year. Compared to Messi and Torres who are both down to earth, this guys a fuckin, arrogant bellend. He is Quality, but I think more factors should be considered. Like your loyalty to your club. Plus internatational performances. Which have clearly been looked over as opposed to Torres's performances for spain.

He does deserve the award, surely when you put your hatred aside for a minute you can see that? None of the top players nominated had an astounding Euros, not even Torres.

 

The lads an arsehole but when he's on form he's effective and that's all there is to it really. There's a long list of things I can't stand about him but if the question asked is did he outperform everyone else during the time that the voters were supposed to be considering then it's yeah. He hasn't done much this year like but last year he was the best player in the world.

 

I still hope he catches a nasty dose of anal aids though.

There was only one player you could have given it to on last season and for once they got it bang on the money,(As much as you dont want to have to admit it)

He's a brilliant player and he scored 40-odd goals last season, just about single handedly winning them the title and the European Cup (apparently, I thought there was no final last year).

 

The fact that he's less than half the man of the other two is irrelevant. It's not a personality contest. I'd like football to be a combination of the two but I don't see many people thesedays agreeing such is the obsession with instantaneous success, but I'm still glad we've got one of the best in the business who does combines talent with class. It gives me that extra bit of pride.
