After spending quite a bit of time round Liverpool One over crimbo, i have decided that i like it very much. I like the way it links the city to the docks and kind of makes town more in touch with the Mersey.

My only concern was that i never ventured into any other parts of town whilst i was there, except for a few pints. I could be very damaging to a lot of other businesess

I spent a fortune there this Christmas, mainly on me.

Pfft, it wishes it was Milton Keynes City Centre, possibly the greatest shopping centre concept of all time. Here's a real shopping centre:

I disagree, having lived here for 25 years, so I feel more qualified to answer. The nightlife is hardly fantastic however, so you may have had a skewed impression of it.

Driving around Milton Keynes is fucking torture. Whoever thought up that road system should be shot.

It's better than 90% of towns and cities in the country because if a road closes there is another road available avoiding large diversions. The grid system is actually fantastic, it's just confusing to people who live in backward, shit cities with 19th century infrastructure. Next.

I think Liverpool 1 is great. As others have said it links up the city centre and the docks particularly well.
