My lasting memory of him will be Cole struggling for breath after 10 minutes in a reserve game, when he'd been "fit" for months. That day a bunch of kids gave him and Poulson the runaround.

I have not watched Cole this year but IMO the slower pace of the French league and the extra second on the ball will have helped him look good this year.
