She's dropped her coach to look for one she thinks will better help her progress her game. She worked with him every day. Who is anyone else to say she's making the wrong decision? Who even knows the input he had into her success, the relationship they had or what his demands were to stay on?

I assume you'd rather she stayed with what she clearly thinks is a substandard coach for her needs, someone who worked with her for a whole two months, outta respect? She's a winner, not a sentimentalist.

The old English disease strikes again.

Young woman couldn’t possibly know what’s best for her career.

Then she has the temerity to turn up to an event promoting tennis with the other success stories from the US Open which was attended by a patron of the LTA. Outrageous.

Yep, I thought that 'jolly hockey sticks with Middleton' bit smelt a tad, but I let it lie for fear of having an episode if I raised it.

Why? It wasn’t just her it was all the players who’d done well at the US Open. Was it ok for them to have a hit with Kate?  Would it have been ok to have a hit with someone you like?

I love the British public, moaning about pressures being put on sports stars, moaning about setting them up to knock them down then the fucking second they don something they don’t like…

So an observation on which on the face of it is a cunts trick is spinned into misogyny and racism. Numero was right this place has jumped the fucking shark.

Why is it a cunts trick?  You didn’t know anything about the arrangement she had.  You didn’t know he wants to stay in the U.K. to coach his son.  Why is it ok for footballers to increase their chances of success by move to bigger clubs?

I think you got the wrong end of stick there. I was referring to Howdy mentioning it, hence the inverted commas. Of course she did the right thing in attending. Imagine the shitstorm had she blanked her own homecoming.
