I'd love to be able to go over there and the football would give me the perfect excuse to. However, the bank balance may not agree.

 

The more i've thought about it, i'm not that bothered about us having to play the early qualifying rounds of the CL. I was really annoyed when it was announced but when you look at it, it's not that bad. The opposition will be so poor that we can treat the games as glorified friendlies. They will still be competitive though so the players might hit the ground running when starting the Premiership season.

If they do go to the world champs, they just play the "semi" and the "final" I think, as do S American champs. If they need to acclimatise why not a friendly warm up against one of the yeams we were due to play, take it nice and easy, pocket the money and have a warm up
