With 8 out of the 25 questions now definitely answered (and one scrapped) things look slightly different at the top of the table. Ahead on 7 correct are the following participants: Kristen JAHenderson Jwo Stu Monty johnboy4 Supersami 15 participants are on 6 correct so far (so still not that far off a valuable 4th spot) and among them are Timo Kopakkala, Party Boy, Truered, Fourtimes, Beni and Cath. On 5 are 21 of our participants, among them the lovable John Brennan and his best mate, Gav. Hermes is also in midtable. Then follow 11 people on 4 and 3 correct answers and dead last is self confessed football hater, Haje Jan Kamps with a paltry 2. …

I know, I know its too late to expect any spares now. I've been badly let down. I've got two friends coming over from Ireland to watch the match (picking them up from the airport in the morning) and the person who has promised me his two tickets for the last 4 weeks has gone bacl on his word. A friend of a friend. Leaves me in a very difficult situation. May have to try ticket touts outside the ground. Just makes me look like a right knob this does (more than usual).

Victor Moses is hoping to continue his recent good record at Old Trafford as the Reds prepare to face Manchester United in the Capital One Cup tonight. Moses started both games there for Chelsea last season as Rafa Benitez's side drew in an FA Cup tie (then winning the replay) and then triumphed in the Premier League meeting between the sides in May. Now he's looking forward to helping his new side get a result there tonight. "It is a massive rivalry between two great sides," Moses told Sky Sports. "We are looking forward to it at the same time. It is not going to be an easy game for us but we will do our best to make sure we get the win. "It is always a good …

more creativity?

Fucking brilliant GH, it has only taken him 4 years to discover that our midfield needs more creativity. Hears to another 4 years when GH actually discovers that Traore is not good enough to play for LFC and Igor biscan was one of the worst financial blunders in European football. [%sig%]

...and it might set a bit of a precedent, BUT (!!)...is there no way the club can appeal against Xabi's booking? I just hope that if we do win, that Carra doesn't pick up a booking. That would be fucking awful.

can be summoned in one word.... CRAP! This Aston Villa team that outplayed for long spells in the second half is a real shitty team! One thing i was expecting to see this year after last season was passion... But players, and Murphy especially, just strolled around like they did`nt care... The first 20 minutes i thought this is lookin good, but after that, it was just abysmal stuff. Houlliers word to stop using the long ball had it`s effect though... But players are allowed to think for themselves. When you lose the ball in midfield 5 times in the space of three minutes, then you are allowed to clear the ball long, instead we invited Aston Villa to take th…

"It was not good timing that he went to see Abramovich and then, two days later, that there were stories saying that Chelsea wanted Stevie," Houllier said. ..... well in there GH , at least someone has the balls to say it [%sig%]

If we dont sign Cole (and we probably wont) I would have Gerrard-Murphy in the centre and then sign someone specifically for the right side of midfield. Not a central midfielder or striker stuck out there (like Malbranque). [%sig%]

Some food for thought. Special kind of glory *Not including last weekend Without wanting to start a Rafa bashing session, its interesting to see that even though Rafa ranks higher than Capello and Wenger he averages less points per game. We rely on the forums of the best LFC sites on the Net (with their prior permission) to promote our articles. "Liverpool legends" gives Liverpool fans a fresh insight into the stars of yesteryear while revealing their thoughts and background that you might have not known about before. You get a glimpse of their contemporaries' opinion of the stars of the Liverpool team at that time. We fully realise this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but LFChistory.net's aim is to enlighten or refresh people knowledge of Liverpool and not chase sensationalist articles that have little substance. Take a while to read these profiles which have been well researched or bookmark them fo…

haven't done this in a while. pick a formation and a starting 11. There's only one keeper because I don't know who will be backing up Jones. I've left out sterling also because he's unlikely to be involved and too many will pick him regardless.

Gary Neville believes that there is no doubt in his mind that Trent-Alexander Arnold can become the greatest right-back that this world has ever produced. But to reach that lofty standard, he has fix some of the areas that are currently letting him down. The game of Football has never been more dissected than it is today. The manager and his assistants have enough on their plate to deal with on a day to day basis, therefore the role of opposition analysts have never been more vital, watching hours of tape of upcoming opponents and pinpointing areas that can be used to the advantage of their team. …
