My favourite Hendrix track is Drifting but it's not on YouTube unfortunately.

Mitch Mitchell went in and overdubbed the drums after Hendrix had died & for my money it was the greatest drum track he ever recorded.

Drifting is very special - great album that too.

Somethings night right with that, just watch Mitch Mitchell’s drumming.

Soon into it he’s not playing the same as his drums on the audio track!!

The Hendrix estate continuing to milk that money cow.

Yeah, the drum track was missing last I heard. Mitchell overdubbed drums for the original Rainbow Bridge movie & I'm guessing he did it for the whole concert, which is how they have this.

Still, the audio should be pretty good although not 100% from the original concert.

Ah I see, that explains it then.

My excitement to see footage from that gig quickly turned to bewilderment watching it as Hendrix’s vocal and guitar tracks are fine.

Mitchell didn’t even try and sync up his parts. Ha!

There was definitely something fatally wrong with the original drum track recording, I can't remember if it didn't record, it was badly damaged or they lost it but it was one of the three unfortunately.
