Today I had an operation on my hip, lying in my room now completely off my face on morphine. It's a great feeling, very mellow and made me feel like I love everyone.

 

The surgeon has just been in to see me and said I can have a DVD of the op if I want it - how cool is that? He's reshaped the head of my femur so it should be weird viewing.

Despite looking like a diseased bell end that's the head of my femur after being shaved down.

morphine, motherfucker!!!!!!

 

i got a lump cut off my fucking tongue earlier on today, no prescription pain killers, just nurofen+

 

and the stitches have just popped open, yay

 

the hip is fiddlesticks compared to the tongue :whistle:

The problem with morphine is that the effects will end. Then you'll enter the world of pain. I thought that that might cheer you up...

I'm through that, the op was on 3rd. Went to see the surgeon today and got the DVD and some stills. First part is not so bad just repairing some cartlidge, the second part where he's removing the bone is horrid.

I watched both my knee scopes live. Weird stuff. I'd throw the DVD away, and still ask for more morphine, it's not even 2 weeks, you can never be too careful... :)
