If you're so keen to take previous years as evidence why have you reversed history and decided that instead of going on long unbeaten runs as we have in the run up to christmas and beyond we'll suddenly start getting worse?

Our form improved last season too but we tailed off at the end, after Rafa started resting most of our decent players for the CL final.

EDIT - Just to confirm also, I expect our form to improve, but I don't think it will be good enough to match the likes of Arsenal and the Mancs.

I can understand where you are coming from and I know that I am always optimistic. Neither is right or wrong. I can see us clicking and surprising everyone.

It's not far from what Rafa has served up in every season here, so he is more right to think that than to think the opposite. How do you know we won't Dave?

I don't have problems with people expressing doubts, I have problems with people expressing illogical doubts. There's a difference, I've expressed doubts loads of times on here about some of Rafa's practices. I've heard a million reasons from Pako, to Rafa is too cold, to all sorts of spurious reasoning.
