That fuckin winds me up beyond belief. Really hope Ecuador do England tommorrow and put an end to this fucking stupid circus the media have created around England. I swear if England go out, I'm going to download Sash's greatest hits and play "Ecuador" at full belt and drive around the Woodchurch for a good 2 or so hours.

All together now:

"EA CUA DOOOOR!"

Its harsh if carra gets dropped, especially for that stupid over rated twat hargreaves. I mean, that, to me, means that mr burns believes that not only is carra not the best full back available, but that a midfielder- and a shite one at that- can do the drop better. What a complete dick that man is. Ok, so carra may not be the best full back goin forward but he's solid as fuck and 100% reliable. Hargreaves, Eriksson, England- Fuck Off

Carragher should be playing at centre back IMO, but if he can't quite get into the team he should be third choice, with Campbell a distant fourth.

It's to Carra's credit that he is good enough to also play for his country at right back. His strength lies in being a great defender. If the fullback is expected to do a lot of attacking then Carra's strengths as a defender are somewhat diminished (though it shouldn't be overlooked that Carra crossed from the byline for Crouch to score for England). If we were playing the Argies then you would have to put Carragher in, but as it's Ecuador, you would hope we'd be attacking a bit more, in which case I am just about OK with Carragher being dropped.

I think the way forward is to play a holding midfielder and allow Gerrard and Lampard to get forward, behind a lone striker, with Beckham and Cole out wide. If Beckham again flatters to deceive, then Lennon should be brought on in his place (and early on too).

It's forecast to be 35c tomorrow as well. Think Ecuador may cope with that a little better somehow!

I can't see Rooney lasting 90 mins on his own up front in that heat.

He won't be running around. He'll be 25-30yds from goal, taking balls played into him then playing in runners from midfield.

At least a two goal win for England, no matter what the temperature is.

I've got a feeling that Ecuador will do them anyway. England have been really, really poor to be fair.

I think they might squeak through tomorrow, Ecuador looked pretty terrible themselves against the Germans - my best guess is a replay of the Paraguay game, where we nick an early goal and then both teams play out a dreadful, goalless 89 minutes afterwards.

Whoever wins, Portugal or Holland can both dismantle them in the quarters.
