Edit: Stoke just appeared. Got my ticket block 305. Quickest I've ever got a ticket.

Got one on the Kop, the traffic is heavier at around 8:30, it always is for every type of sale they did. The whys and whats of why the site can't cope with any amount of traffic can be debated later. But around 9ish is when it starts to ease, try again now. I had more luck with IE than Firefox too, although that could be coincidental. I fear for big games though, there'll be no chance with those.

Got the tickets but can't get to the fucking checkout to pay for the bastards as it keeps timing out.

And when I finally manage to get on, its seems the website doesn't like the version of IE in use at work (V6 or something) and so won't complete the checkout process.

 

Just as well I probably won't be going much after October as this is a right pain in the arse.

If you've added it to your basket and can't complete you used to be able to ring the ticket office (not the number with all the 4s in it) and they'd finish it for you.

Jules, I thought you meant the 08448440844 one, but even the one with 2005 at the end is quite slow normally in my experience.

 

Barry, will you keep us in mind if you get that spare? I did think it was only one per card though?
