Everton never ever have any money to spend do they?. The way Gollum goes on you'd think he's got his entire squad on free transfers and their fantastic youth policy. He's trying to maake himself out to be a better manager than what he is and blaming the fact that he has not won anything on the state of the game now - ie English football dominated by 4 clubs.

They got knocked out of the Champions League by Villareal who survive on bargains from other clubs or players who have been overrawed by playing for big clubs - like Riquelme, yet what did he do then? - blamed a refereee in the 2nd leg. God knows what excuse he used when they got hammered by Bucharest who are probably part time coal miners. They also got knocked out the League cup once by Middlesborough who have probably spent as much as he has yet he goes quiet when things like that happen.

No wonder Kenwright loves him - he just brainwashes him into teh bitter grievance culture of Everton and if anything goes wrong he looks elsewhere and moans about how much Liverpool have spent.

The "we've spent no money" lie continues apace.

The biggest lie ever perpetuated upon an unsuspecting public...bigger even than Thatchers '79 Election promise to cut unemployment.

That banner is disgusting. What sick bastard would research all the names and then approach somebody to produce the banner, 22 years after the event.

I wonder how Bill Kenwright reacted, after all he said his fans were a credit to the club. Mind you, this is the man who at an official Everton function at Goodison had a banner above his table reading "We don't care what the red shite say".
