Yeah, it’s an awful league now. The irony is that the lack of competitiveness has possibly done Bayern out of a European Cup or two also so. It’s probably taken a bit of edge off the German national side too.

Without Bayern it's a great league. A bit like a more technical Championship with less negativity at times. It hasn't helped Bayern in Europe though,as you mentioned. Their 7 could be easily 10 or 12 European Cups.

Some of the football is very decent alright, but the best sides are playing for second and third place. I’d still rate it above Championship level though - it had Joel Matip hiding in plain sight! 

 

Klopp has done more anyone to prevent  similar shitshow in England. He’s as much a treasure for the Premier League as he is for us.

Yes he is. The PL is in danger of it becoming exactly the same,except the other 3 or 4 challengers are still financially way beyond the other 15 teams too. When watching the series about the Crystal Palace Academy they revealed that their academy upgrade was financed by Wan Bissaka's transfer to United. And Palace are a mid table PL club! Modern football is shit.
