I love Vienna one of my favourite cities for art, history and culture. I first went 6 years ago 
 

It’s been a few years (first time was 6 years ago) and second time was about 3 years ago so hopefully Covid hasn’t closed these places:

 

food - so many great places. figlmuller - for schnitzel, do&co at the Albertina for something fancy, - Tian - a Michelin star vegetarian (fantastic) place the tasting menu was brilliant, I stopped in cafe central for coffee and cake was decent but even better was the landtmann cafe and its where Freud and the gang hung out.

Also got a slice of sasher cake at the sasher hotel.

The museums and gallery’s are great as are the palaces (schobrunn and Belvedere) in particular. it’s worth a little walk to the red army monument too and I enjoyed the zoo too.
