Funny you should say that, it was a barber that recommended my set, too. He reckons I'll get 10 years out of them no problem. I paid £50 I think, and at the time it seemed expensive, but if they last that long it's a bargain really.

You can probably buy replacement blades for that one as well then. Well worth paying the extra for something with a decent motor that will last you years. Just oil the blades occasionally and make sure it's brushed after use. No point in buying a cheap one really.

I'm still hanging on in there, Vlad. Well, just about, like. I've receded a fair bit now and my hair is noticeably quite a bit thinner than it was. I used to Bic it to the bone in the late 90s and had a number one for about 2 or 3 years earlier this decade. I fear it won't be too long before I'm forced to do so again.
