Must say it warmed my heart to see Fergie looking like someone had just stolen his Glenfiddich Solara Reserve stash and his Oban, his Glenlivet, Tallisker, etc. Arsenal had a decent 10 minutes and that's it.

 

Very sweet to see Mancs play them off the field and get naught.

 

We would also do well to study all ten penalties that were taken. They were all taken well (even Scholes' that was saved by Lehman).

 

I'd have snapped the seal from the jaws of a polar bear if the trophies were allocated as such in August: Prem/CC- Chelsea, FA-Arse EC-Liverpool.

I must be going soft in my old age, cos at the end I ALMOST felt sorry for United. They were on a different planet to Arsenal for the entire match, and Arsenal never looked like creating a decent chance, much less scoring.

 

Still, at least there's no way those tiresome Gunners fans can bleat on about our FA Cup win in 2001 any more, as this was even more one-sided than that one.
