Once again the Reds fell behind early and once again they came back to win 3-1 as a Darwin Nunez penalty was followed up by lovely goals from Luis Diaz and Mo Salah to ensure the tournament favourites got off to a winning start.

 

Just like Jurgen Klopp we've shuffled our pack for the Europa League. Regular starters Chris Smith and Dave Usher are joined by John Brennan, who is looking to impress and force his way into contention for the weekend pods.

 

The lads look back on the game before previewing West Ham at the weekend, while JB reveals how he once nutmegged a former Manchester United player and that by rights he should have a Ballon d'Or on his sideboard.

And you’re a fucking rat, Usher!!! Mo is nailed on for my all-time eleven. That wasn’t the question though, you absolute snake!!!

 

He’s incredible, I love him & I’m now leaning towards Smithy’s “Give him a new contract” take. He could play in this team for five more years, easy. And I think we’re seeing already this season how he might choose to adapt his game in the future to be become a more creative player.
 

For the record though, Mo is a far greater player than either Suarez or Fowler; he’s not quite as talented though.
