Remember I used to send links about Kinnock saying Baroness Warsi should be eu president?

Did you even read that link you kept posting? Kinnock said Warsi would be a good Commissioner (and everyone ignored him): he never mentioned the Presidency.

FWIW, you may be right about von der Leyen being a cunt. I just don't know (or care) that much about her.

I posted a really fucking annoying link a while back.  It was an interview with Boris Johnson when he was visiting Northern Ireland as part of the 2016 Referendum campaign.  The interviewer asked Johnson about the border and Johnson said "absolutely nothing will change". Despite the fact that it was such an obvious lie - something that could not possibly be true under any Brexit scenario - the interviewer just accepted it and moved on to the next question.

And here we are.

Im sure all the usual media outlets will be pressing this point. Im sure if Starmer brings it up tomorrow in PMQ's he will admit to lying and won't turn it all back on Labour. I'm sure.

How many years have they had to ‘iron out the creases’?

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2021/feb/02/beekeeper-stung-by-post-brexit-ban-and-threat-to-burn-15m-bees

They’re burning fucking bees now.

’Since the end of the transition period, only queen bees can be imported into Great Britain, rather than colonies and packages of bees. However, confusion over whether bees can be brought in via Northern Ireland has caused a legal headache.

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) said it was aware of the issue and is working with the devolved administrations to find a solution. “I am a passionate beekeeper, I’ve been doing it for nearly 20 years,” Murfet said.

He is managing director of Bee Equipment, based near Canterbury, and every year he imports large numbers of bees from breeders in Italy, where the climate is warmer.’

The stories just get more and more fucking ridiculous.

Ouch... I suggest Angry and his mates watch these truth bombs whilst gulping down a large whisky

These "truth bombs" - do they amount to "the EU is flawed and some of its leaders are a bit shit and get stuff wrong"?

If so, it's not news.

I suppose in Van der Lyens rose tinted world of extreme security and wealth "flawed" and "some"  "stuff wrong'" is acceptable but in a country which suffered a 30 year war and over 3000 deaths  the people may take a slightly more critical viewpoint.

Here we go; its oh so predictable; tories making hay, and they will continue to make hay and for once they have a very good reason to jibe and point fingers.

She really should resign otherwise the eu does not command credibility.

Predictable? You dopey cunt, you have said for 3 years Brexit would destroy the Tories and that's why you were in favour.

And I would be afraid of you if you're anything like your posts on here, stupid people are dangerous.

I never said I was in favour of Brexit. I did indeed say Europe would split the tories and that's exactly what happened up to a point, two Conservatives prime ministers resigned over Europe. Unfortunately the split wasnt deep enough to drain the endless amount of puss that exists in the Conservative party, but hey hoy I still live in hope.

You seem to have an unwarranted high opinion of yourself kid but like your username suggests i look at you as just  another sad cunt off the internet who's full of shit.

It's almost impossible to spot the ones that tell the truth (politicians)

Boris Johnson is a next-level liar, though. "Normal" politicians will twist, bend and stretch the truth and show some remorse (however insincere) when they get caught in a lie.  This cunt has been a full-time liar for his entire life and he's been well rewarded for it, so he's not about to change now.
