The Crab Song is one of the best things they have ever done.

Love it.

The Crab Song and Chinese Arithmetic are my two favourite FNM songs. I rate Introduce Yourself as a close second to Angel Dust. Moseley aside, some of the songs are superb: Faster Disco, Anne's Song, Chinese Arithmetic, The Crab Song, We Care A Lot.

Aye - even 20 years later those songs sound brilliant.

BIg Ugly Jim Martin and Hetfield. The good ol' days.

haha brilliant. Hetfield walks on and all of a sudden there is 500% more crunch in the guitar sound. Special gigs those, where unexpected shit happens. I still buzz off being right near the front watching 'talica and Joey Slipknot when Lars had his 'episode' a few years ago.

Hetfield in '89 was fucking invincible. Only having to play stuff up to justice, still on the liquor and ulrich actually able to play the proper fills and keep time.

The band QOTSA wish they were

A lot of bands wish they were! FNM would wipe the floor with 99% of the shite out there. Then again you could say that Linkin Park and their ilk were spawned in their wake so that ain't much of a legacy. Shite bands like that have been ripping off Epic for years.
