Liverpool vs Tottenham (Sunday 30th of March 2014)

Fantastic performance from Liverpool yesterday.

Tottenham looked like they'd absolutely no fight in them whatsoever, but I doubt it would have made much difference in the end.

There's still a couple of twists and turns I expect, but it's really just to difficult for anybody to call now.

Even the 'simplest' of fixtures seem to take on stomach churning proportions now.

I hope it's not Chelsea though. Not because of any dislike, but because I really don't feel they've played attractive positive football in the way City, Liverpool and even Arsenal have.

Amazing how much Rodgers is getting out of our players. While Chelsea and City have the luxury of being able to rotate most positions on the pitch our lack of depth means Rodgers has been rotating Sterling Allen and Coutinho. Apparently only 12 different players have started  for the last 6 games. 35 out of 39 points since the new year.

As the banner on the Kop said ' Rodgers the Carefully Chosen One'.

Great goals, great passing, great moves are all good things to watch, but there's no better sight in football than a monstrous crunching challenge sending a twat of a player arse over tits. That right there is a thing of beauty, seen it about six times in a row. Ace indeed.

Loved that - not the only one of the game either. He set the tone with that one on Balotelli when back Kenny gave him his debut. Soldado was seeing stars.

Ah lads. Comparing Lawrenson to HIM. Watch the title-winning game against Spurs in 1982 when he got up in a crowded penalty area to nod in the equaliser then come back and compare Lawrenson to HIM. He may be a naff, cliché-ridden pundit these days with a bad haircut and fruity taste in clothes, but mentioning a man who will be in the first chapter when the Big Book of All-Time LFC Greats is written in the same post as a photo of HIM...Jesus.

Travelling and watched on a shitty internet connection that kept freezing

Worried that the Spuds might have shown some fight beforehand but no fucking chance of that

What a bunch of overpaid journeymen surrender monkeys . Fucking disgrace and got the bumming they deserved ; in fact the score flattered the fuckers

Loved it when Flanno snapped Soldardo . Just summed up the desire of our lads and the great team spirit
