What's happened to Robbie?

Does anyone share my dismay at Robbie Fowler's present situation? It is such a shame to see him struggling at a mediocre team such as Man City. He did ok at Leeds and was their top scorer in his first season there. However, he got injured again before being sold and just has not recovered his form since his move. Can anyone explain why? It is such a shame to see a truly gifted striker struggling, particularly after the amopunt of goals he got us, especially early on in his career. His only league goal this season came when Anelka was left out. Maybe they can't play together, (shades of Owen at Liverpool). Maybe if Anelka moves to united as has been rumoured it will …

I refer, of course, to the practice of playing some bloody awful song when the team scores, that seems to have been adopted at Bolton and Wolves. The Wolves fans are so fucking pathetic, that they even sing/hum along to it. Sad deluded bastards. Mind you, they'll get few chances to do it before they're packed off back to the Nationwide come May.

From .tv: Houllier is furious with Bruce's comments and insists Pongolle is definitely not a diver. "What's being said about Florent is very unjustified," said the Reds' boss. "Florent spent so much time on his back because he was fouled so much. "There were some bad tackles on him, but I didn't say anything at the time. I'm absolutely infuriated by the lack of grace. I like Steve Bruce, but on this occasion he should have avoided comment. "First of all, it was a penalty. The defender was right on top of Florent and he couldn't move. "Second, I think Steve has a short memory. Last season we were denied two blatant penalties away at Birmingham. I ca…

Obviously good result against the brummies, especially after going behind. Good result at molineux too, but that firework, FUCK ME! Scary shit! The balance of power continues to shift on Merseyside I see then Moyesey? :rule: Two contrasting reports from bolton though, first the BBC saying "to call Everton's attack wafer thin would be an understatement." Wayne Rooney :what: Secondly, during the Premiership a certain striker tried a lob, on which the commentator, remarked "there was too much meat behind that." Wayne Rooney  Also, had to laugh at just how no-mark the blues are, as the panel barely even mentioned the fact they're in the bottom 3 :rule: , just tal…

Yesterday was good. Responding to going one down isn't something we've done well in the last few years (3 wins in the league after going behind?), but yesterday we did it. Full marks to Stevie G for taking the responsibility of that pen. Fair play to Heskey (I'll say his name if I like - I can do what I want on here Usher ) for a brilliantly-taken goal. Top marks to FSP who is really busy and is a nightmare to defend. Didi - just like with Carra, we only miss him when he's out. HK - he's going to be star for us. Sami - getting back to your old self. The crowd got behind the team yesterday - that's what supporting LFC is about. In sharp contrast to t…

After remembering a few Mølby crackers i started thinking which goal is the greatest Liverpool goal ever. The first two that entered my mind was Terry McDermott`s goal in the 7-0 win against Spurs... and his goal against Spurs in the FA cup in 1980! Pure magic!! :)

Salif Diao had a nightmare against lizaradis, fair enough carra and finan were both injured but we all knew we'd be short of cover at right back when steven wright and xavier were got rid of,but having seen semmy in the stiffs he's a far better defender than salif, why not give him a chance,Diao will cost us playing there i would hate to think that the manager is playing a player he has spent a lot of money on rather than a free kid to save face.

Before the game I went to kensington to meet my grandad and dad and whilst in the boozer my dad happend to mention that he met Dave Hickson recently. "err who's Davey Hickson lad" said me grandad to me "I bet you don't know who he is" I must admit that a week previous I would'nt of been able to say who he was (name would of been familiar but that was all) but thanx to TLW I was able to tell them all about Davey Hickson and his debut for the red's  Suffise to say my Blue supporting G/Dad (oh and it was his 76 b/day aswell) was well impressed with me. He also said Dave Hickson was mad, not for joining us but that he was actually funny in the head…

Okay, it was a very good volley, but was there any need for every outfield player to run over and join in the celebrations. It'll only encourage him and the man who picks him that everything is fine.

:telloff: Let me start by saying that I do not use the word 'cunt' lightly. It's a pretty offensive term, but let's face it, no other word will do when it comes to Birmingham City Football Club and its fans. There are other teams in the league I despise, but I came to a sudden realisation yesterday that the one club in the Premiership I despise more than any other are Birmingham. Yes, the Mancs are up there, but I do have a grudging respect for their achivements. Leeds are just sad bastards. And over at Everton, Bankrupt Bill provides us with endless entertainment. But Birmingham have no redeeming features whatsoever. There is nothing to respect, and they hav…

Who the fuck kidnapped that useless lump and swapped him for the fella that scored that goal? The likeness was uncanny. We will pay the ransom but can we please keep him a few more weeks.

Cisse scored two more today to take his total to 12 in 15 games. I know it's only the French league, but that's pretty impressive; certainly more so than the current incumbent. If we're going to sign him before the end of the season, it's going to take a hefty sum: Auxerre can't do without him.

From Sly Sports "That wouldn't have been given if it had been at the other end" "Everyone in the stadium knew it was soft" "It was definitely the turning point" God Bless, he's made for the Theatre of Wet Dreams.

...cos that sure as hell wasn't H***** who scored that third goal! Only joking- credit to the big man for an excellent goal. With Owen out for a while, he now has one last chance to show that he has a future at Liverpool. A few observations from today's game: Djimi and Diao- I like them both and they always give it 100%. However, neither is anywhere near good enough for LFC. Vlad- excellent when he came on. Could take Diouf's place in midfield. Kewell- we'd be absolutely screwed without him. Hamann- came into his own in the 2nd half. The last 25/30 minutes were excellent. It could've been 5 or 6.

Did anyone see the plug for Echo Cheif footy writer, bitter Blue (and possibly Hitler's grandchild) David Prentices book in Thursdays echo? I reckon it'd be a great read, if you miss out the chapter on the 1995 cup final. All those cup defeats to lower dividion opposition(of which he cites York as the worst) must make entertaining reading. I wonder how many pages pass before it says 'if it hadnt been for Heysel'
