    We ate at the French Laundry last night, the wife is a massive foodie and it's our anniversary. The food was great, the bill was not! $1000, or £750 for the two of us. Insane prices. The 'optional' Mac & Cheese was £100 for a portion of about three mouthfuls cover, literally covered, in black truffle. As Oscar Wilde once said 'Price, value. Yada yada'

Ain't no fucker going to improve on a slightly sweet digestive, strong cheese and chutney, it was my gift to the french and the restaurant I did it in, more of a local place than a formal, still have it on the menu as an option; Biscuit Anglais avec Fromage
