  1. You all know that HAARP was responsible for Sandy, don't you? PROOF HEER!!1! HAARP Status and Real-Time Network Detection Quite amusing, I've been watching this and the site owner appears to update the "OMGZ! " bit of the status map either during/after the event, or by looking at weather maps or USGS earthquake status maps and then best guessing the HAARP map to reflect this. But.. Oh no. It's deffo HARRP causing all this... I remember reading an article regarding the electrical power needed n having a transmitter powerful enough, at the right frequencies, to actually be able to cause a reasonable amount of ionespheric heating which *may* slightly modify weather events and... Well, put it this way. The HAARP facility in Alaska is missing quite a few conveniently placed nuclear power stations...
  2. Apparently Vodafone are doing this to everyone. Vodafone to raise pay monthly prices
  3. I couldn't agree more. There's a lot more to pasties than mere filling. I find the Ginsters ones to be a bit sickly really, but when compared to a Sainsburys steak slice they're positively heavenly.
  4. I've always thought that positions of power should not be given to people who actively seek them. That'll cut out some of the chaff. As for awareness of all this, you have the internets to thank for that. An "awakening" of this scale wouldn't have happened 20 years ago as people didn't have the same access to information as they have now. Not that many people will do anything with that information, so long as they have their HD sky boxes and other distractions to keep them entertained the status quo will, broadly, be maintained. Yep, this is about as good as any system that involves humans gets. Pesky people, with their greed, wants, agendas and lusts. It'll never be perfect, but that's not to say we should not attempt some kind of change. We will never reach an ideal utopian society in this respect, but there's no harm in attempting to struggle towards it anyway, if only to try and prevent it from being a complete cesspit instead of a partial one.
  5. Is it OK in safe mode? (F8 upon startup if you're unfamiliar with getting into SM) When it freezes up, is the HDD activity light on solid and if so, if you listen closely, can you hear a rhythmic repetitive clicking or clonking from the HDD?
  6. And how is Sayers, Greggs, Farmfoods and the like going to survive without spotty spandex clad single mums and their bean-stained pushchairs containing biscuity smelling scruffy crumb-covered sprogs? Who's going to give me a cardiovascular workout by annoying the tits off me at the post office by spending 25 minutes paying all manner of catalogue bills over the counter whilst I'm waiting to buy some stamps. Or, on the brighter side, who'll then provide the simple cheery humour of an ill-behaved child falling over in the supermarket and hurting themselves? The last one I saw was some scruffy oik careering around the aisle and face-first into a stacked up display of Pepsi Max. Burst into tears, he did. Burst into laughter, I did. You need to see the bigger picture. Oh. Wait. No. Fuck 'em.

  8. You as well? Been noticing a load of 11:11s lately as well. Freaky deaky.
  9. Maybe he made himself pregnant in some hilarious, as yet untold, anecdote. Si. Have you been trying to fuck yourself in the mimsy?
  10. Self inflicted gluttony, the last time I was in Cornwall. The Golden Guinea in Looe, 30oz steak with all the trimmings, onion rings, chips, mushies and all that caper followed by a sweet. About £25 and Christ, I could hardly breathe after all that. Another one, in the pasty shops you can get a "take home" box of 6 large cornish pasties. An entire box in one sitting. The last challenge after all that was shitting. Now I know how birth feels... I had delve into the khazi with a pair of marigolds on to break its back so I could flush the fucker. Good times.
  11. He's from Edisyesrem? That figures. They're a right bunch of cunts in Edisyesrem.
  12. Ok. from what I gather from a hurried reply this morning... Arthritic dogs. Glucosamine, she gives her dobie 2x human dose, also start off with a higher "loading" dose at first to get it into the woofers system., also Chrondroitin too is also good for this. Tumeric is a natural anti inflammatory, also garlic&fenugreek. You can get these as tablets or mix your own. Apparently her dog loves the taste of this anyway so an easy one to give. Finally, oily things rich in Omega 3&6 oils. Fish oils and the like. She's going to email me a shitload of links, recipies and more info this weekend, so I'll post those when I get them. Chewiedog *rocks*
  13. Hey Lew. How did the Halloween party go?
  14. Heh. I pity them rather than hate them, shit bears that they are... I've just emailed her asking for some info about dosage and other stuff as well. Cod liver oil has worked well with some of my older cats too. Check for any potential interaction between metacam/paracetamol and Glucosamine or anything else first. I seem to recall that, in cats at least, metacam can hit their kidneys pretty hard.
  15. A mate of mine has had a few arthritic dogs, she's almost a one-woman rescue centre for old iffy dogs, and she swears by Glucosamine supplements to help for this. Look into it, might be worth a go.
  16. I'll keep it short and sweet. Family, Religion, Friendship. These are the three demons you must slay if you want to succeed in business. Monty Burns. He's right y'know... It's hard work mate, prepare to lose a load of your quality time thinking or worrying about it, prepare for some weeks with little or no wages and wave goodbye to stress-free holidays and time off. Apart from that, great!
  17. I'm not sure about the beans, but good to see some brown sauce in there. Trying not to sound cheesy, but just shows how much you and yours are regarded in here mate. Hope you both had a fantastic day. Right, go spend that cash on hard drugs and his and hers strippers.
  18. Speaking clock? I'm with you there bro. I time it to the pips. "At the third stroke..." Fuck yeah.
  19. It was getting stronger and stronger all day, but indications were it was going to weaken again to a certain extent once it approached landfall. The problem was predicting by how much, and where exactly was it going. It's hard enough trying to forecast and predict even a benign cyclonic system in a broad sense, let alone smaller more localised events. Look at any UK weather forecast to see how that works out. When it was over sea and heading for the coast, it was picking up energy from warm sea surface temps courtsey of the gulf stream. Radiosondes were reporting the central pressure dropping steadily at this point, so strengthening. Then, once it was over cooler seas it started to disorganise slightly as roughly expected. Whilst all this is happening, it took more of a westerly direction and left NYC "relatively" alone, sea surge notwithstanding. The devil is in the detail, they knew it would weaken to an extent, but from what to where in that short amount of time was a tough one to call. This slight change of direction and the manner in which it disorganised was basically impossible to forecast with anything approaching 100% accuracy. So many variables to take into account.. The best they could say, whilst giving people enough warning, was "Something quite nasty is coming in." and it wouldn't have taken much, synoptically speaking, for it to have been a lot worse than it was.
  20. Dennis. He's like HAARP on two legs, beaming chaos and confusion wherever he goes. Shine on, you crazy diamond.
