    *This* I was listening to Talk Sport today coming home from my half day in work today. I've lost my iPod, Welsh local radio sucks balls, I wanted to listen to something.. Anyway, some of the reporting and callers were absolutely fucking spot on. Can't remember the presenters, but in this time they were absolutely bob on. I had to pull over for 10 minutes, my eyes were filling up. They had this bloke on who was absolutely spot on and I just couldn't help myself. Got TS on now, 8.38. Seems they're replaying the same bloke. *edit* It was just bits from his call. Rogan Taylor apparently. Wasn't he the one who demanded a fee one time for an interview about it one time? Anyway, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for this one as he was spot on with this at least.

    Acronis True Image will clone from larger to smaller, so long as the the contents of the larger drive does not exceed the capacity of the smaller one. In the case above, if it's user data that is taking up most of the drive capacity, move it all to an external or whatever for now, so the OS and odds and sods is less than the capacity of the newer drive, clone it and off you go. Once it's all happy, stick the 1Tb back in, wipe and format and copy all the user data back to the 1Tb and tell windows to use that drive as default for user docs from thereon in.

    I've been out with a few gushers, including a couple who didn't realise they could until I got my mitts upon them. Not trying to say I'm an expert pork swordsman, quite the opposite if anything as the old "in out in out *cumface*" is a bit fucking boring if you ask me. Loads more fun to be had in the foreplay, which is where I've had all my squirty fun. During this, when you're throwing a couple up the clam, hook your fingertips a bit and feel for a cushiony spongy bit. That's the bit that turns the tap on...

    Is this your PSU? Silent Pro M500 - Cooler Master - Leading Provider of Computer Case | Cooler | Power Supply If so, you should have a shitload more connectors? At the bottom of that link is a pic of what connectors you should have. As you can see from there, one of those cables alone from the PSU is the PCI-E 6 pin jobby, which sorts your video card out, and so onm, other cables with various odds and sods on the end amongst which will be the sata power connectors for your HDD and DVD drive and so on. All those cables listed should have come with the PSU.

    Molex is just the name for that particular connector. All PSUs will have a couple of those on it alongside the other SATA power connectors and whatnot. Your PSU should have that black 6 pin already present, so do away with that adaptor and just use the cable straight from the PSU. Your HDD has a molex? Sounds like that also has a molex to SATA connector. If so, again, just do away with the adaptor

    Eyup. Refuse access, admit nothing. Like bailiffs, they rely on your ignorance of the law and on you dropping yourself in it. If you have to answer the door just tell them, politely, to go away and don't admit to even knowing what a telly is. They assume that everyone has a telly nowadays, and there's also that law where you have to give your name and address when you buy a new telly so they can cross reference you with their database and start hassling you. I treated myself to a flatscreen telly a couple of weeks ago at Tesco and had to fill in my name and address. Somewhere in Wales are a pair of inspectors searching for Jack Apple, Sweet Apple Acres, Llandfil, SA99 9ZZ

    Loads of things like that zone me out, in particular washing machines, tumble driers, rain on a tent, anything like that but one thing above all is faint, well-sent morse on a shortwave radio with a wide IF filter. Mmmm Let me explain. When morsing a narrow IF filters out any interference around the signal, so you can concentrate upon the morse. All very well if you're actively decoding but for R&R a wide IF brings all those whines, squeaks and crackles that you get on the SW bands, and that with a weak, slowish, hand-sent morse transmission with a little bit of sway in the timing just sends me off like nowt on earth. Numbers stations too, again so long as it is faint and with loads of swooshy, crackly atmospherics in the background. Mmm x2. Numbers stations. The Conet Project: Ordering Information

    Marine tanks kick arse, like a giant chemistry set, what with your water test kits, skimmers, phozzy reactors and whatnot. Just to add to all the groovy advice above, one thing well worth getting, IMHO, is your own RO (Reverse Osmosis) water filter. Makes water changes nice and cheap once you've spunked out the intial outlay and trust me, some of the pre-filtered water you get at some aquariums is not as pure as you would think. You will end up on fish forums chatting to a bunch of locals about all this, so you can even make some pocket money back, or at least get yourself into the good books by whacking out RO'ed water amongst them all,. With one of these and a decent testing kit you can get your water absolutely bob on which makes for happy critters. Second top tip, in my book, is a tank with a weir and a sump. You can then keep your skimmer/reactor/filters and all manner of gubbins hidden away leaving a nice uncluttered tank above. Or just get a nanocube and a goldfish. It'll save you fucking thousands...

    Worth reporting as lost/stolen to the rozzers though, if you know the serial number for it. Small chance, but it might turn up in some Cash Converters or the back of some lids car if they get a tug or similar.

    Been looking at these, the new Kindle Fire and the Nexus 7. Fuck it, going for the Nexus. Latest Android without being tied into BB App World or Amazon, guaranteed for the OS to be kept up to date via Google, nice and hackable and 16Gb is not that much of an issue as once rooted you can add USB storage to it.

    Yep, that'll kick arse well enough. The only thing I would upgrade upon that spec, for now, is a larger HDD. The price difference between a 500Gb and a 1Tb or above is fuck all nowadays, think there's about a tenner in it, so might as well get the larger unit.
