Whats the story with him these days?

 

Do any followers of Spanish football know if there is a chance he might soon be available?

 

I see Valencia are having a mass clear out and Albelda, Canizares and Marchena amongst others have already been told to find a new club. We might be able to pick the bones here. David Villa is also said to be very unhappy with his situation.

Looks a bit like Kewell now, the injuries have taken pace and explosiveness away. He was wonderful under Rafa but think the last thing we need is another crock on the left.

A real shame if thats the case. I think he was the best left winger in the world under Rafa.

 

I think he's still only 26 as well.

He might still have spells where he's ace and full of the lightning pace it's just the few bits i've seen of him. Then again, no one at that club looks like they give a fuck so maybe it's just an effort thing and he's not finished.

Rafa will know if Vicente has still 'got it'. If he has, then we have to be interested. If injuries have taken their toll, Rafa will know not to go near.

If hes anything like the player he was then he would be worth risking allowing Babel to be pushed upfront.

Him and Kewell kan play 1/3 of the games each and Babel can take the wing for the last 1/3. Haven't seen him play for a while, but he was definitely top drawer back in his heyday.

Vicente was a wonderful player under Rafa, however nowadays he looks very sluggish and a shadow of the player he was 2-3 years ago. Its a shame cause the Vicente of yesteryear would of been the answer to our prayers. If theres 1 player at Valencia we should be after its David Silva, i hope he gets cut loose by Koeman as well cause hes a magical player and would be a signficant improvement on any attacking midfielder we have at the club.
