For me an out-of-towner is just that- a Red who happens to live somewhere other than Liverpool. The arsehole gobshites who phone 6-0-6 and slag the players, wear stupid jester hats and ask "Is that the programme?" to fanzine sellers are daytrippers.

Out-of-towner = loyal Red, daytripper = woolybacked arsehole.

i can understand some locals resenting oots , but being one myself i can

say that most oots would give anything to have been born in liverpool,

the spirit of the club and the city and shanks first awakened my love for

the pool, when people ask me why i support liverpool without living there

i tell them it not worth me explaining because they simply would not

understand , it is like asking a catholic why he is a catholic, its a

religious experience
