Apparently the last of the original cast member has retired at the age of 103.

 

I have to say I’ve never listened to this show ever. Anyone got any thoughts on it?

Always reminds me of my Grandma.  We used to call her every night as soon as my mum had finished listening to it as we knew Grandma had finished listening too.   
 

103 is a good age for anyone let alone an age for someone to retire at!!

I'm a big fan and listen to it every day. It goes back to when I was on the road a lot and you get sick of music and I started listening to plays and stuff on radio 4 to make the journey go quicker.

 

June Spencer is phenomenal to keep going for as long as she did and to be believable right to the end
