  1. What are everyone's thoughts? I think they are boss and Live Under A Blood Red Sky is the best live album ever. I know people can't abide them though and I assume the same fuckers have beans on their eggs
  2. I tend to use Pirate Bay for most stuff but there are a few albums I can't seem to get off it, so what sites do you normally use?
  3. After Torres had produced a brilliant finish to beat the onrushing Lehmann, the Liverpool marksman revealed: "I want to win more titles and become the most important player in Europe and the world." But when asked about Torres's quality, Lehmann said: "Well, he scored and that's what you have to do as a striker but you're asking someone who played together for years with Thierry Henry and he was a God, performance-wise, when he was in England. "So when you take him and compare him to other strikers, there's a difference and Torres is definitely still not at Thierry's level." Asked if the 24-year-old could reach that standard, Lehmann - who has yet to decide whether he will play on at international level - shrugged: "Yes he could get there - but it will take him a while." what a bitter bitter man
  4. Today the last of the gems left Liverpool. Anthony Le Talent joined Le Mans on a 4 year contract after beeing allowed to join on a free. Hopefully we have included percentages in the deal if he is sold on, as he will probably blossom and join a better side in a year or two.
  5. Urban freestyle street soccer, that's gotta deserve a thread of its own! So here we go. Freestyle Street Soccer is Today's BIG Thing - JUN 25, 2008
  6. Outrage over £200m UK investment in Zimbabwe - Times Online Thay've got to be takin' the piss????????????????
  7. Anyone been? Looking to go next May with the Girlfriend for 2 weeks. Seen some good deals on the net although they all seem to be in the region of £1200 each which ain't too bad, as I have a year to pay for it. Any recommendations on which resorts and stuff?
  8. Well what do you people think? 2 very dodgy defences. Holland look like they have more going forward so they look like the likely winners. I lost a good few pound on Croatia last night, Russia are very tempting at 4-1 but its hard to look past the Dutch and i reckon horseface to score first and the Dutch to win 3-1.
  9. Has just withdrawn from the "race" for the Blackburn Rovers position. So let me get this straight, Paul Ince is about to get the job, so Allardyce withdraws suggesting that he doesn't want it anyway. Erm, ok.
  10. It's doing my fucking head in. It's bad enough when some piss-ant English club plays music after scoring at home, but that inane disco tune after every single goal is starting to interfere with my enjoyment of the tournament. I'm minded to mute the telly whenever anyone scores. Another step in the creeping transformation of football from a sport into an American-style festival of razzmatazz bullshit. Football is the most thrilling game in the world you fucking morons, it doesn't need shitty gimmicks to make it into a more of a spectacle. Make it stop.
  11. Got a ace YouTube clip! YouTube - Jimmy Bullard Tribute
  12. It's been mentioned on various websites the Darling George is being interviewed on Canadian radio today. Can someone listen in or will it be on line? I've heard that the ninety day notice is up on the 19th too,NEWS?Please say that their leaving.:yes:
  13. Who does this loon think he is I see he's now written an open letter to a Chelsea fans, his family etc Get a grip soft shite No one died - you hit the post with a penalty. The world hasn't stopped - and gasp horror - Chelsea fans may actually be getting on with more important things like work and their kids and stuff. Premiership footballers - by and large - complete self obsessed bellends
  14. Why the fuck can't I paste anything into Hotmail? It won't let me paste links or text. What's up with that?
  15. I hope you lvoe me because i thijnk your the bestyest eber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. My fucking amazing old trout of a mother has volunteered me to be a model for her friend's daughter, who has an interview for a hairdressers next week. The girl has only moved up here from Birmingham last week and knows nobody (hence her panic about finding a model and my Mum nominating muggins here). She phoned me, and to be honest she sounds about 6, and quite retarded (though that might just be the accent). I've been trying really hard to grow my hair since loads of it fell out last year and I had to get it cut short. I'm worried this girl is going to butcher my head, and I'll end up having to have it dead short again. I'll do anything to help anyone ordinarily, but I'm not feeling very comfortable about this. However, if I pull out she won't get the job. Should I sack her off? After all, I've never even met the girl. Or is Good Samaritanism the way forward?
  17. Really fuckin do my head in, once in a blue moon they pay off but more often than not go straight into the wall or nowhere near the goal, how many times have we seen riise do this? has no one on our team got the audacity to try a top corner curler, surely Torres is capable of this, fair enough if your 35-40 yards out but when within range its criminal to waste such a chance, I hope Rafa gets this sorted for next year and also that Gerrard is on the edge of the box when it comes to corners rather than actually taking them, it would add a lot more to our armoury if could we become more productive with our set pieces.
  18. Is the Italian sorted yet as ive just heard off a mate weve been linked with Urby Emanuelson, absalutley no idea who he is other than he's an attacking left back from Ajax. Anyone else heard anythin? Anyone know if he's any good?
  19. Liverpool ace Fernando Torres, Barcelona stars Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi, plus Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero have all signed on for this year's Free Kick Masters event in Texas. Free Kick Masters is an all-star competition unique to the world of soccer as the only event that features elite international players in a direct shots-on-goal competition. It also features the largest single player event purse - the player crowned "Free Kick Master" will receive $1 million in cash and prizes and the "Golden Goalkeeper" title winner will receive $500,000 in cash and prizes. In addition to Ronaldinho, Deco, and Del Piero, other free kickers expected to appear are, Fernando Torres, Rafael Marquez, Jared Borgetti, Juninho, Eddie Lewis, Jozy Altidore, Sun Ji, and Sun Xiang. The stellar list of goalkeepers includes Oliver Kahn, Francesco Toldo, and Kasey Keller. With a format similar to the NBA's Three-Point Shootout, and MLB's Home Run Derby, Free Kick Masters is a skills-based international soccer competition featuring some of the world's top-rated free kickers competing against some of the world's premier goalkeepers. This free kick shootout is designed to determine the world's "Free Kick Master" and "Golden Goalkeeper". The last Free Kick Masters was a sold out event held in Marbella, Spain broadcast to over 30 countries with an estimated 110 million viewers. Camelot Island Entertainment (CIE), who presents the event, has signed an agreement with Fox Sports International Distribution Ltd. to distribute the 2008 Free Kick Masters event to a worldwide audience. "This is one of the most significant developments in the history of international soccer," observed a CIE representative. "Other than the World Cup, there is no greater collection of superstar talent at any one place, at any one time, than the Free Kick Masters. The fact that this international soccer event is taking place in the U.S. speaks to the growing popularity of the sport and its ability to break down borders and unite cultures." tribalfootball.com - Liverpool's Torres takes on world in Free Kick Masters comp
  20. Real Madrid Sign Garay for 10m Euros in cash so we can cross him off the list
  21. Apparently Rafa's tie raised £5000 -------------------------------------------------------------------- LFC players support charity event BBC NEWS | England | Merseyside | LFC players support charity event Stars from Liverpool Football Club will be supporting a campaign to raise £1.5m for a Wirral care home at a special charity dinner and auction. Hoylake Cottage Hospital is aiming to build a new day centre, which will provide facilities for elderly people. The event is being hosted by Reds' boss Rafa Benitez and his wife Montse, a member of the fundraising committee. Team members expected to attend include striker Fernando Torres and defender Jamie Carragher. The auction will include the tie that Benitez wore in Istanbul when Liverpool won the Champions League in 2005, a pair of boots from both Torres and Gerrard and a pair of Reina's gloves. Hoylake Cottage says the current building is nearly 100 years old and no longer fit for purpose. Jen Ling from the hospital said: "It's full of small little rooms and tight corridors and for day care what we want to offer is nice large open spaces. "We want to have a big garden and offer a bathing service, chiropody, hairdressing, everything that our elderly in the community deserve." Montse Benitez added: "Sometimes it's really hard for the families, so going to a day care centre like Hoylake Cottage is something that helps people to still take care of their grandparents or parents at home but at the same time to carry on with their lives."
  22. Sorry if you all like him but i think he is rather average, the amount of chances he has to score from the edge of the box and most of them hit the corner flag, it really does piss me off.
