Hasselbaink is looking seriously old these days. In between his pundit bits on that game he was definitely sat in the stands with their most rabid fans. If you want an example of bias then look no further.

I always thought the gain was to stop them killing the other wildlife (based on tales of ‘foxes breaking into henhouses’) although I could be wrong.

I had the booster last week. Not as ill as after the first jab but definitely wasn’t great. Seems to be complete pot luck. Both elderly parents absolutely fine after all three of theirs but that’s twice I’ve been weak as a kitten. Basically felt like a bad hangover but over it after 48 hours which I’ll take.

She keeps leaving the taps running in the bathroom sinks. It’s basically any tap with the twist mechanism on the top, she seems to have worked the others out. Apparently flooded her own house twice by doing it and the habit has now spread here. Instead of learning to check, her serious idea at a solution is that at her house she’s going to have the sink capped off in the downstairs bog (‘nobody is allowed to do a poo in there anyway’ being the reasoning) and that I have new taps fitted that are like the ones in public bathrooms where you have to press the top down and it gives you about 3 seconds of water. She’s lucky she’s otherwise top quality.

Yes as it’s a chance to learn to look after yourself, meet people from all over and generally widen your horizons. Unless you go somewhere elite though I don’t think the degree in itself is enough to get you into a good job (with obvious exceptions if you are taking a qualification that then has a direct path such as a lot of healthcare courses). I heard a good point raised that top firms recruit from the top universities not because of the education they will have received but that they have in general (children of generous donors etc aside) been identified as elite in order to get in to begin with so they’ve actually taken care of that part for them.

My mate has been ranting on the same, he has 2 kids doing it and says there is something extra every week. They started doing ‘half gradings’ now which need to be paid for but I gather mean absolutely nothing. Then they’ll have a visit from some Brazilian karate chap who’s meant to be a big deal and they’ll be handed a bill for that. My mate said he moaned a few months ago to the bloke running it that it seemed to just be money spinning everywhere and he got a full volley of abuse, normally he’d kick off back but felt it might not be the best move in the circumstances.

I’m spewing over the back to self isolating if you’ve been in contact even after getting the jabs. Whether it’s right or not is a different question but it’s absolutely gutting and going to feel like back to square one. Feel proper cheated My kids school will be buzzing their tits with excitement that it’ll be an excuse to get the kids sent home again every other week. It was 8 or 9 times in the last school year that they had to isolate as contacts of someone in the class last year so we’ve probably got that to look forward to again. Probably come across like a moaning cunt there but I’m fucking sick of it. I don’t even know what the point of posting that was but I just wanted a rant.

I think it’s one of those things we probably just have different opinions on and that’s fine.

He didn’t have to bring a gun at all is the point. It’s ridiculous. I bet he couldn’t believe his luck when offered even the slightest justification to pull the trigger.

If he kept moving away and the guy came after him there’d be an argument it was justified. As it was, he was standing still. It wasn’t just a straight choice between having the gun taken off him or having to shoot him. The whole thing seems really shady.

The mindset to even bring a firearm outside in that situation speaks volumes. It’s essentially a minor dispute. Additionally, he absolutely was not in any danger at the point he pulled the trigger. He’s either done it in anger or was waiting for any excuse and had planned it in advance. Either way, he’s clearly a danger if he’s that willing to kill someone. He couldn’t give a shit after either. Definitely a wrongun.

Quite how she’s managed to stay in any way relevant is beyond me. Living off that one song from over 20 years ago.

I have a hatred for this chap that i will admit is worrying. His middle name should be ‘mediocre’. Untalented yet given a platform to do everything at the highest level. Fancied being a footballer - went to Arsenal academy despite being crap, fancied being a photographer- got a book deal despite being crap. Wanted to be a model - sure thing, doesn’t matter that you’re a pasty faced, ordinary looking gimp. I’m sure there are plenty more things he’s fancied having a go at and been given the opportunity at the expense of someone else more deserving. Now he’s on tv making butties that anyone could do. Fucking fuming here!

Bottle of water (1 litre) before going to sleep along with 2 x Nurofen liquid tabs, 2 x Panadol (red box) You’ll wake up for a piss a few hours later, repeat the previous dosage. In the morning, half a bottle of Calpol and another bottle of water. Sleep for another few hours.
