    As for buying them outside mate, if you use terms like 'scalp' and have an American voice you will likely get financially gang raped and sold a golden goal ticket from 1983.     The lower leagues are bound to be full of talent that with the right opportunities could turn out to be top players. The standard is really high right down to the conference, and even Marine are full of ex Liverpool and Everton youth players who narrowly missed out by a whisker on becoming pro. Jason Mcateer played for them and not particularly well, and although he was a bit shite for us, he cost Bolton a bag of footballs and a few grand and got sold for millions. It is great when players come from the non leagues and have that life experience, like Ian Wright who always had that extra bit of an edge and charisma over a pampered poncey 45 grand demanding teenager.

    this forum is going through a rough patch recently I feel. It goes in cyces though if I remember rightly and should be back on track before long. All there is is threads taking the piss out of other threads and threads about the posters on other forums not doing something or other that they should, and then a customary Rafa netspend had eye off the ball stood up for the fans vs yes but he bought loads of shite debate. I put it down to a lull in the season, we are going in the right direction but it's on a national express and it might well break down in Leeds.

    Quite aside from the fact there never was any atmosphere at the library, the PR bullshit included in their press release is quite staggering. I am sure their are loads of businessmen sat around a tacky meeting room in Dubai saying 'What we need to do is spend loads of our money on footballers and their wages whilst taking less and less from the fans, whilst recreating the famous atmosphere of Highbury.' And it won't happen.

    Sorry but that article is such simplistic shite. If you want to roll out that statistics your opening a can of worms and need to be prepared for a fight, you can't quote a few from the past 6 games and use it as a reason for the general difference between the two clubs predicaments. The reasons are extremely complex. Was it written by a Korean United fan? Sections point, I sort of know what you mean, I felt it more under Hodgson's tenure, like the club was being sold back to us in soundbites and cliches.
